Government to gain access to your cell phone information

New legislation is currently been considered that will give governments full access to a persons calls, texts and emails, the legislation will force the operators to hold all this data for 12 months.

It is also likely if this legislation goes ahead that Facebook and Twitter activity will also be stored.

Anti-terroism and serious crime provention are the reasons given by officials to push this legislation. Consumer watchdogs are warning this is just an excuse for the authorities to mobile spy laws on the unsuspecting community.

This is not the firt time cell phone tracking laws have been proposed, but as yet nothing has moved forward.
